Obituary: Parrish, Jeanne E.

Age 85

PARRISH, Jeanne E. (Age 85) Jeanne Ellen Parrish left us on January 23, 2013 to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She passed peacefully surrounded by her son, Greg, his wife Oy and granddaughter Shannon.

Jeanne was born November 30, 1927 in Canton, Illinois.

The family moved to Bremerton, Washington in 1941.

After graduating from Bremerton High School, she met the love of her life, Wilbur E. “Bud” Parrish and they were married on June 26th 1946; after he returned from World War II.

They have two sons, Greg and Brad.

The family lived in Seattle for 20 years, Spokane, WA, Cypress, CA, and returned to Spokane to retire.

Jeanne moved to Wasilla, Alaska in July 2011, to live with her son Greg and Oy after the death of her husband Bud.

Bud died in Hospice House of Spokane, Washington on January 20th, 2011.

Bud and Jeanne were married for 64 years and their last residence together in Spokane was at San Souci West Retirement Park for 30 years.

She is survived by her sister, Janet of Eugene, Oregon, two sons Greg and wife Oy, Brad and wife Diana, eight grand-children, fourteen great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
