Obituary: Flees, William C.

Age 82

FLEES, William C. 1930 - 2013 William Flees was born June 9, 1930 in Flushing, Michigan; he passed away peacefully January 27, 2013 at Hospice House in Spokane.

William was preceded in death by his parents Domazy and Mary; brothers Firman and John; sisters Frances Walters, Florence and Margret Flees; daughter Susan Hurt; son Michael Flees; stepdaughters Jackie, Janine, and Karen Jorgenson.

William is survived by his wife of 32 years Jerry; brother Jim; sisters Dorothy Walters, Pat Brown and Diane Wilson; daughters Debbie Taggert (Ralph Dahman), Kathy Ader (Bill); son Gerald Flees (Dawn); as well as numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bill joined the Air Force at age 17 and spent four years in service during the Korean War before settling in Spokane.

Worked at Kaiser Aluminum Trentwood for 24 years and retired in 1987.

Bill and his wife Jerry moved to Mesa, Arizona and spent 17 years in the sun before moving back to Spokane.

Bill loved his family and friends, camping and fishing, spending time with his little buddy Mimi (dog).

Bill always had a project going and could fix anything, he was a jack-of-all-trades.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 11:00am at Center Pointe 1408 N. Washington.

Reception will follow at the Flees Residence, 421 N Dick Rd.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in William Flees name to Hospice House of Spokane.
