Obituary: Milstead, John Gregory “Greg”
Age 65
Born on October 21, 1947 in Bloomington, IL to John L. Milstead and Lilian (Vick) Milstead.
Greg enjoyed skiing at Schweitzer, camping at Sullivan Lake, biking and working on his classic Oldsmobile cars.
He was a Vietnam Vet, serving in Thailand.
He earned his nursing degree from Montana State University in 1975.
He then rejoined the Air Force in 1976 and retired in 1992.
He was an operating room nurse at Valley Hospital until 2005, until he was medically retired.
Survived by his wife Emily (Guay) Milstead; daughters Shawna (Chris) Manion, Jessica (Patrick) Roskowyk, and Monica Milstead; mother-in-law Dolores Hammack; brother, Rick (Kim) Milstead; sisters Holly Herring and Laura Alexander; grandchildren Keenan James Roskowyk and Becca Skye Manion; German exchange son Silvan Brandt.
There will be a Celebration of Life held Friday, February 1, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA.
