Obituary: Ratliff, Quentin Davis

Age 79

RATLIFF, Quentin Davis 79 Years of Life Aug 13, 1933 - Jan 25, 2013 Quentin was born August 13, 1933, to Arthur and Dorothy Ratliff in Milan, Washington.

He passed away peacefully on January 25, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Nick.

He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 58 years, Nancy, a brother, Truman (Leah) Ratliff, a daughter, Debbie (Greg) Andrus, grandchildren, Michael Redmon and Ashley Ratliff, and a great-grandson, Walter Redmon, a close family friend, Cheryl Avery, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Quentin graduated from Riverside High School with the Class of 1951.

He worked at the Montgomery-Wards warehouse, the Spokane County, and Ericks Realty.

He grew up in a musical family and developed a lifelong passion for the saxophone.

With his love for music, he went on to perform throughout the Northwest and Canada with the “Mom & Dads”.

They were well known for playing the “Rangers Waltz”.

He was also a volunteer fireman with Fire District 4 for 35 years.

He loved the outdoors, riding four wheelers with buddies, and spending time at the river with family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at the Chattaroy Community Church.
