(Age 86) Bettie Josephine Bundy died peacefully in her sleep on June 6, 2013 after battling numerous health issues for several years.
She was born in Edmond, Oklahoma on April 29, 1927, and her family moved to California during the Great Depression.
Bettie worked for the Santa Fe Railroad during World War II.
She married her devoted husband Richard in December of 1945 after he returned from the European Theater.
They moved to Spokane, Washington to join their two daughters in 1997.
Bettie was a superb artist, excelling in both oils and china painting.
She was proud of her large family, and is survived by her husband, three sons, Dick, Ray and Russ, daughters Barbara Lambert and Paulette Fink, and her siblings, Alene Aneiro and Bert DeWitt.
She also has nine grandchildren and eleven great- grandchildren.
The family will host a celebration of her life in early August.
