BOSTON – Police in the Connecticut hometown of Aaron Hernandez say Boston authorities have asked for their help with an investigation into a double homicide connected to the former NFL star.
Hernandez has already been charged with murder in the shooting death of his friend Odin Lloyd.
Bristol Police Lt. Kevin Morrell says the request from Boston police was based on evidence developed through the investigation of Lloyd’s slaying.
Two people were killed in the shooting in Boston’s south end on July 15, 2012. Boston police won’t say whether Hernandez is being looked as a possible suspect.
