FOSTER, Hazel Elizabeth (Age 100) Passed away on June 27, 2013 in Spokane, WA.

She was born in Kansas City, MO on May 26, 2013 to Harry and Ida Kilgore.

At the age of 12, Hazel and her family moved to Pasadena, CA and lived there until 2004.

In 1934, she married Elmer Day who passed away in 1960.

Hazel married George Foster in 1968.

He passed away in 2003.

Hazel worked as a salesperson in a bookstore and department store in Pasadena for many years.

In 2004, she and her eldest daughter moved to Pacifica, CA.

Hazel moved to Spokane where she’s lived for the past six years.

Hazel is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn (Warren) Hultberg of Pacifica, CA and Madelyn (Midge and Don) of Spokane; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Hazel was a member of Hillyard Baptist Church and loved to sew, crochet, and read.

The family wants to thank Horizon Hospice of Spokane and the staff at Beacon House where Hazel lived for the last two years.

The family has decided not to have a Memorial Service since they all attended her 100th birthday celebration just one month ago and prefer to remember her from that day.
