Obituary: Poindexter, Paul L.

Age 68

POINDEXTER, Paul L. Passed away early on June 28, 2013 at his home in Spokane, Washington.

Paul was born on March 10, 1945 in Spokane, Washington to Paul and Josephine Poindexter.

He was a graduate of Rogers H.S.

(class of 63) and was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving as a radio operator in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He met and married his wife of 43 years, Linda Maciejewski (Rogers, class of 66).

Paul enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, leather work, and spending time with his family.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

His positive attitude and outlook on life carried him and his loved ones throughout his life and through his battle with cancer.

He is survived by his soul-mate and beloved wife, Linda Poindexter; children, Danette Larson (Sean), Cindy Poindexter, and Aaron Poindexter; siblings Janet Anderson (Mike) and Joseph Poindexter (Debbie); as well as two grandchildren, Milana and Melissa Larson.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Chelsey.

There will be a memorial service held Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11:30 at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N. Government Way, with a reception to follow at Inland Northwest AGC, 4935 E. Trent Ave.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s name to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Spokane, P.O.
