She graduated from Salmon High School in Salmon, Idaho in 1944 and then attended Kinman Business University in Spokane.
On November 18, 1945 she married Everett Smith and together they raised their three children in Spokane, Washington.
Through the years she developed many longtime friendships and enjoyed camping, boating and square dancing.
Clio is survived by her husband, Everett Smith of 68 years together; her sons: Mark Smith (Spokane, WA), Kirk (Connie) Smith (Tigard, OR), Brian (Gina) Smith (Spokane, WA); her sister, Tommy (Jim) Nolan; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Howard Lyne.
She was a wonderful homemaker, loved decorating, and has moved on to start their new home.
Her caring and loving spirit will be missed by so many.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Good Samaritan for the wonderful care they have given to both of their parents over the last two years.
Their service and compassion has been a tremendous help through this difficult time.
A Funeral Mass for Clio will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Otis Orchards, WA.
A family Interment will take place the same day at St. Joseph Cemetery in Spokane Valley.
