Obituary: Trantum, Edgar G., Sr.

TRANTUM, Edgar G., Sr. (Age 84) Was born on July 24th, 1928 in Spokane.

Edgar worked for Burlington Northern railroad at age 16, enlisted and served in the U.S. Coast Guard in 1946, followed by the U.S. Navy in 1947.

In 1948, Edgar and Jaclyn were married and stationed at New Dungenous Light House.

They had two children: Edgar Jr. and Therese.

Edgar spent the majority of his life raising his children and grandchildren with love and care.

He loved sailing, camping, music, being with friends, and studying religion and history.

Edgar is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jaclyn L. Trantum; daughter, Therese Larrigan; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and son, Edgar Jr. Edgar was loved and will be greatly missed.
