Ferraris in the Park Today-Sunday. Ferraris from Seattle, Portland, Spokane and western Montana, will be coming to Coeur d’Alene and participating in a car show, a slow cruise west to east down Sherman Avenue escorted by police motorcycles, a drive around Lake Coeur d’Alene, and a banquet at Beverly’s Restaurant atop the Coeur d’Alene Resort Tower. The car show takes place Saturday from 9-11 a.m. in City Park. Free. (208) 691-9694.

Furrst Friday This special event will support the area’s animal shelters. SCRAPS, SpokAnimal and Spokane Humane Society will bring adoptable animals to meet and pet, along with artists whose work captures the art of animals: Steve Merryman, Marilyn Meyers, Kit and Pete Jacoda, PJ McConnel and more. Includes a silent auction of art the animals have created, featuring “Pawcasso,” “Meownet,” and “Jackson Pawlock,” and crafts for children and adults. Live music by Chuck Burbank. Whitman County Library Summer Concert Series Monday-Thursday. Hank Cramer performs a mix of original, traditional, and contemporary folk songs. They tell the stories of cowboys, sailors, soldiers, miners, adventurers and just plain drifters. Performances will be Monday: 10:30 a.m., Colton Library; 3 p.m., Garfield Library; 6 p.m. at Malden Park. Tuesday: 10 a.m., Palouse Library; 1 p.m., Endicott Library; 6:30 p.m., Tekoa Library. “Rumble on the Rooftop” Music, raffle prizes and all-you-can-eat food and drink included in the ticket price. All proceeds benefit Campus Kitchen Program, which provides 3,000 meals every month to after school programs, low-income seniors and homeless shelters in the Spokane community. Pirates of the Coeur d’Alene Family Cruise Join Captain Calico Jack and his crew for an action-packed interactive family adventure across Lake Coeur d’Alene.
