Obituary: Christenson, Mary E.

CHRISTENSON, Mary E. Mary Ethel Christenson - Our beloved “Granny” passed away peacefully on June 25th with her daughters by her side.

Born December 7, 1918 to Nicholas and Phoebe Shalz in Westmond, Idaho.

She graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1937.

A 30 year member of Eagles Lodge #3256.

She loved to dance, play pool and travel; touring most of the United States and much of Europe.

Preceded in death by a son, Larry Pettibone, one brother, one sister and a niece.

She is dearly missed by those who survive her; daughters Sharon (Ray) Baker of Kingston, WA, and Vicki (George) Bolks of Spokane Valley; six grandchildren Peggy, Holly, Donald, Todd, Eric and Mary; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand- daughter.

At her request, a private family service was held.
