Obituary: Perry, Lorraine Alma (Olson)

PERRY, Lorraine Alma (Olson) Passed away early June 24, 2013 at her home in Spokane, WA.

Lorraine was born October 19, 1926 in Usk, WA to Alvin and Violet Boring and was raised in Deary, ID.

She later moved to Spokane where she raised three children and went on to work 32 years for various “Home Care” organizations.

Lorraine enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and her work caring for others.

She is survived by her son, Walter Thornton (Marilyn); daughters, Diane Smith and Sharon Lawson (Melvin) all in Spokane; two brothers, Dolman Olson and Tim Olson (Andrea) and sister, Margie Hewstis of Deary, ID; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, three sisters, five brothers and her husband, Ray Perry.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Deary Idaho Community Center.
