was taken to the Lord’s home, Thursday, June 13, 2013.
Born in Dayton, WA., July 11, 1955 the daughter of the late Wilbur Roland Towers and Doris Elizabeth Towers.
On January 10, 1979 Debra enlisted in the United States Air Force and completed Basic Training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
During her service Debra earned the following medals, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal with 2 devices, Air Force Longevity Service Award with 4 devices, and an Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 5 devices.
She served twenty years retiring on January 31, 1999 to Spokane, WA.
A loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend she will be forever remembered for her great sense of humor and being a mother to many.
She enjoyed watching football, shopping, and family gatherings.
She is survived by three sisters; Billie Jean Towers, Janice Dumond, Linda Erickson.
Two brothers; John Towers and Tommy Towers.
Four children; Maurice Johnson, Anthony Johnson, Jonikka Harada, and Breanna Price.
Five grandchildren; Shaquan Johnson, Sidney Johnson, Noah Harada, Maurice Johnson Jr.,and MiKayla Harada.
Also, several nieces and nephews.
Debra will be laid to rest on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, with full military honors at 2:15 pm., 21702 West Espanola Rd., Medical Lake, WA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
