(Full-size photo)

ZACHER, Dwaine Alan (Age 64) Dwaine was born in Spokane, WA and lived here most of his life. He left this life suddenly on June 12, 2013. Dwaine was raised on the Moran Prairie, attended Ferris High School, and went on to join the Navy as a Seabee. He worked as an electrician in both his military and civilian careers. In his spare time, Dwaine enjoyed being outdoors working on his yard and garden. During the last 10 years of his life, Dwaine was an active and well known member of the Peaceful Valley community. His loss is acutely felt by his family, friends, and neighbors. Dwaine is survived by his mother, Agnes Zacher; sisters, Judy Nessen and Ardis (Bob) Storms; brother, James (Theresa) Zacher; children: Patrick Zacher, Amy (Ryan) Wise, and Alan Zacher; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and by many dear friends (too many to list). Dwaine didn’t build up material wealth, but instead had a treasure in friends and family. His friends and family are his living legacy. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Moran United Methodist Church, 3601 E. 65th Ave., on July 13th at 11:00 to celebrate his life. Please join us for this celebration and afterwards for refreshments.
