Police blotter

Kootenai County sheriff

Craig Clifton, Priest River, reported Thursday the $2,300 theft of a 1992 Honda Civic and tools from Stateline Speedway, 1349 N. Beck Road near Post Falls.

Jessica Beck, manager at AT&T, reported July 2 the $600 theft of a Samsung cellphone from the business at 269 W. Prairie Ave., Hayden.

Paul Creighton, Post Falls, reported Wednesday the $735 theft of a handgun, knife, checks and paperwork from his 2013 Toyota Tacoma while parked at various locations in Kootenai County.

Keisha Patterson, Bellingham, reported Wednesday the $695 theft of a laptop computer from a home on the 9400 block of West Twin Lakes Road in Rathdrum.
