Murder suspect transported to Spokane jail

A man arrested in Tacoma in connection to a north Spokane fatal shooting was transported to Spokane County Jail on Wednesday, according to a news release. Issiah L. Schauman, 19, allegedly shot 27-year-old Fabian McBride to death outside his home on the 7000 block of North Atlantic Street on June 12. Schauman evaded capture for more than two weeks. Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Schauman on June 28. Schauman faces a charge of first-degree murder.
