Obituary: Carstens, David Lee
It will take place at Good Samaritan Society Community Center, 17028 E. 8th Ave, Spokane Valley, WA.
Family and friends are invited.
David grew up on a farm in Greenacres and attended schools in the Central Valley District.
He graduated from Central Valley High School in1970.
He attended Evergreen College.
He worked at Hewlett Packard, Agilent, Spraycool, Shamrock Paving, and various other jobs mainly with computors or electronics.
Dave loved the outdoors and enjoyed downhill and cross-country skiing, swimming, hiking, biking, organic gardening and scuba diving.
He served on the Spokane County Sheriff’s search and rescue dive team for a few years.
He had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful storyteller.
David is survived by his daughter Annie Stranberg, grandchildren Willow, Waylon and Faith, mother Kathleen, brother Stephen, sisters Linda (Leslie) Rose and Jennifer Carstens.
