Obituary: Matson, Richard “Dick”

MATSON, Richard “Dick” (Age 79) Loving husband, father, grandfather, and talented musician, was born on November 17, 1933 and passed away peacefully on July 10, 2013 in Spokane.

Dick is survived by his wife of 57 years Judy; sons Rick, Jr. (Daphne) of Spokane and Dan (Judy) of Post Falls, ID; daughters Debbie Matson and Carol Matson (Michael) both of Spokane; sister Joyce Wyatt of Republic, WA; half-brothers Larry and Karl Olesen; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff and management of Fairview Assisted Living and Horizon Hospice for the support and care that they gave dad.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 508 N Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224.
