Obituary: Overhauser, David Carl
David, born September 14, 1957, was the 9th of 11 children of David and Mary Overhauser who preceded him in death.
Raised in Spokane, he completed high school and was honorably discharged from the Navy.
David could repair or build most anything.
He is perhaps best remembered for the loving care he provided to our mother in her last years and always being available to help friends and neighbors.
David is survived by his 10 siblings: Cerena Lauren (formerly Mary Lou), Terri Holmes (Rod), Judy Overhauser-Duett (Chuck), Tom Overhauser (Julie), Linda Mahmood (Ken Lewis), Dan Overhauser (Brenda), Debbie Turnbow (J.T.
), Cheryl Bostwick (Joel), Randy Overhauser, Tracy Overhauser and numerous nieces and nephews.
Special thanks go to his good friends Louis Lapham and Mitch Blocker who provided much support during his illness.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 2116 E. 1st in Spokane.
Private interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
