Obituary: Smith (Williams), Roselyn E. (Age 70)

SMITH, Roselyn E. (Williams) (Age 70) Roselyn Elsie Smith found peace July 1, 2013, after a ten year battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was born on January 26, 1943 in the Spokane Valley to Corwin and Elsie Williams.

She was the oldest of six children and had so many fond memories and stories to tell of her childhood, like taking family vacations with eight people stuffed into a station wagon!

And visiting one of her favorite places, Kalaloch beach on the Olympic Peninsula.

Roselyn was an avid gardener and always had the nicest yard in any neighborhood in which she lived.

She gifted many people with her dried flower arrangements and passed on her love of plants and flowers to her children.

She was an amazing cook, bowler and crafter, loved long walks, and camping.

But mostly she was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother.

She was a beautiful person inside and out and she will be so greatly missed.

We love you, mom!

Roselyn is survived by her husband of 49 years, Thomas; three children, Carissa (Jack) Rowland, Laurel (Jim) Littleworth, and Greg (Jeri); seven grandchildren; three sisters, Connie Robinson, Patrice Williams, Sheri (Steve) Axel; and a brother, Robert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Corwin and Elsie; and sister, Linda Marie Cross.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Inland Northwest, 910 W. 5th Ave., Suite 256, Spokane, WA 99204.
