Man with severed penis found in Clarkston

CLARKSTON, Wash. — Law enforcement officers in Clarkston have discovered a man with severed genitals lying on a street.

The Asotin County Sheriff’s Office says the 62-year-old man was found about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday and was taken to a hospital in nearby Lewiston, Idaho.

Sheriff’s Capt. Dan Hally says a portion of the genitalia was also recovered and sent to the hospital for possible reattachment.

The identity of the man has not been released by law enforcement.

Hally says the incident was not an accident, but there is no danger to the general public. He says law enforcement is not currently searching for a suspect
