She was born on August 28, 1916 in Grants Pass.
OR, to parents Harry and Goldie Hull.
Katherine graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1934 and graduated from Emanuel School of Nursing in Portland, OR in 1938.
Katherine lived in San Francisco for nine years, but has been a resident of Spokane since 1949.
She married Ray Killian of Spokane on February 4, 1950 and together they had two sons, Richard and Raymond.
Ray preceded Katherine in death in 2002.
During her working years in Spokane, Katherine worked for several doctors in the Paulson Building, and as a registered nurse at St. Lukes, Deaconess, and Sacred Heart Hospitals.
She is past member of the California Nurses Association and the Washington State Nurses Association.
Katherine did volunteer work for many organizations including, Meals on Wheels, Friend to Friend, and Senior Citizen Employment.
A graveside service will begin at 11:00AM, July 25, 2013 on the grounds of Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery.
