Obituary: Jenkins, Patricia (Green)
Age 87
She had been living with her son in Redmond since being diagnosed with leukemia in March.
Patty was a 1944 graduate of North Central High School in Spokane where she was born April 24, 1926.
Her mother, Florence Flannigan Johnson, died when Patty was just nine years old so she was adopted and raised by her grandfather, Ernest Green.
Patty worked in Spokane for many years at Kaiser Aluminum, United Airlines, and Broberg Travel Agency.
She is survived by her son Larry D’Assisi of Redmond; stepson Jim Jenkins of Spokane; grandchildren Hollie Egan of Snoqualmie, Mark D’Assisi of Redmond, Sarah Sundstrom of Bothell, Valera McQuin of Milwaukee, Oregon, and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arch Jenkins of Spokane and her son Steve D’Assisi.
What a wonderful and loving mom she was.
The family will have a private celebration of her life at a later date.
