Age 68
She was born on March 21, 1945 in Long Beach, California to Raymond L. Barr of Mankato, Minnesota, and Eleanor Breyfogle of Primghar, Iowa.
She was raised in Spokane, Washington.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Norris of Libby, Montana.
She is survived by her three children: Shelly Connelly, Kelly Norris, and Sherry (Rick) Cleveland of Spokane, Washington.
Also survived by her siblings: Michael (Darlene) Barr, Spokane, WA; Terry Barr, Colorado Springs, CO; Colleen (Larry) Anderson, Tukwila, WA; Kevin Foley, Spokane, WA; Kathleen Bendixen, Spokane, WA; and Kim (Linda) Foley, Spokane, WA; her only beloved granddaughter, Heather (Zack) Huguenin; and her two great-grandchildren, Landon and Leah Huguenin; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
The family would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt gratitude for all their loving care and support to Hospice of Spokane, and to her very special caretaker, neighbor, and friend, Nicole Hart.
To know Diane was to know that she loved the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks, so the family is asking that you wear your favorite Seattle team attire to the graveside services on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 6:30pm, at Elk Cemetery #1, on Elk Highway Rd.
