Shriners Hospital overlooked

I read with interest the July 14 article by Kaitlin Gillespie about Hector Picard’s bicycle ride for the benefit of Jameson Davis, who was born without arms.

Apparently, the Shriners Hospital, located in downtown Spokane, is the best-kept secret in our area. They treat children with such needs with state-of-the-art procedures and never charge a patient a cent for care.

Let’s spread the word about this superior facility and make sure children are treated from birth and don’t wait for care to begin.
