Armed robber hits CdA coffee stand

An armed man robbed the Lean Bean coffee stand in Coeur d’Alene this afternoon.

A man wearing blue jeans and a gray hoodie showed a gun and demanded money at the 1820 Northwest Blvd. business about 5:30 p.m., according to a Coeur d’Alene Police Department news release. The clerk gave him cash and he fled down Emma Avenue.

Officers used tracking dog but were unable to find the suspect, the release said. Police were working on obtaining surveillance video of the robber.

The man had red shoelaces, the release said.
