Obituary: Koth, Cecelia Mary

Age 86

KOTH, Cecelia Mary Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother and sister passed away July 23rd, 2013 at the age of 86.

Cecelia was born on March 24, 1927 in Spokane, WA., the daughter of Joseph and Mary Dettrich.

She is survived by her daughters and son, Charlene and Kim Koth-Wellington, Marilyn and Jim Finch, Mark and Eileen Koth, Mary Kay and Mike Guilbault.

She is also survived by one brother, Lawrence and Patty Dettrich of Corvallis, Oregon.

She is preceeded in death by her parents, loving husband Arthur Koth and sister, Marlene Hartmeier.

Cecelia was the proud grandma of 13 grandchildren, two great- grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Marycliff High School and was a lifetime member of St. Paschal Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society.

She enjoyed membership in the Spokane Twins Club.

Cecelia worked at Gonzaga University and the Veteran’s Administration.

Until retirement, she also worked in food service for many years at West Valley High School.

Together, with her husband Arthur, they enjoyed building their home in the Spokane Valley and Hauser Lake.

The lake was a place where family and friends shared many happy memories.

Cecelia’s greatest joy was her family.

Her kind heart and warm smile will truly be missed by all the lives she has touched throughout the years.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 at St. Paschal Catholic Church at 2pm.

Interment will directly follow the service at St. Joseph Cemetery.
