The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a deal with former Gonzaga forward Elias Harris.

Harris was not drafted before playing well in the Las Vegas summer league, where he averaged 10.2 points and 5.6 rebounds for the Lakers’ entry. The 6-foot-8 forward from Germany scored 17 in the Lakers’ final game.

Agent Mark Bartelstein said Friday the deal is for two years, with the second a team option.

A four-year starter at Gonzaga, Harris averaged 14.6 points and 7.4 rebounds per game on 50.1 percent shooting from the field in a senior season that saw the Bulldogs reach No. 1 in the Associated Press Top 25 for the first time. In his career, he started 134 of 135 games played, averaging 13.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
