TV Notes: CW’s ‘Capture’ brings ‘Hunger Games’ to life

“Capture”: We have no idea how it will turn out, but our curiosity has been piqued by this reality-competition series, which apparently has a bit of “Hunger Games” in its DNA. Twelve teams of two are plopped into a fenced-in, high-tech wilderness area. There, they pursue one another and compete for scarce resources in hopes of capturing $250,000. Katniss Everdeen would be so proud. 9 p.m. Tuesday, The CW.

SUNDAY: Did you forget “Unforgettable”? After a really, really long hiatus, Carrie Wells (Poppy Montgomery), the NYPD detective with a remarkable memory, returns for a second season of crime-fighting. 9 p.m., CBS.
SUNDAY: Apparently there’s more to being a WWE wrestling diva than choke holds and flying drop kicks. The series “Total Divas” goes behind the scenes as the ring queens grapple with their demanding schedules and personal lives. 10 p.m., E!
SUNDAY: “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” has our host paying a visit to her half sister to celebrate her 50th birthday. Also: Chats with Denise Richards and the original “Survivor” champ Richard Hatch. 10 p.m., OWN.
MONDAY: “Neurotypical” is a fascinating POV documentary that explores autism through the personal experiences of three people who occupy different positions on the autism spectrum, including a 4-year-old, a teen and an adult. 10 p.m., PBS.
TUESDAY: The plot continues to thicken on “Pretty Little Liars,” but is it getting a little too thick? Tonight, Hanna (Ashley Benson) joins forces with Mona (Janel Parrish) to prevent her mother (Laura Leighton) from being convicted. 8 p.m., ABC Family.
WEDNESDAY: The “Do Something Awards 2013” celebrate the good deeds and unselfish achievements of celebrities and regular people. The group of well-known honorees includes Patrick Dempsey, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, LL Cool J, Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Osbourne. 8 p.m., VH1.
THURSDAY: “Our Nixon” is a compelling new documentary that offers a very different perspective of the nation’s 37th president. That’s because the source material is Super 8 home movies shot by top White House aides. 6 and 9 p.m., CNN.
THURSDAY: The “Young Hollywood Awards” return to honor emerging talent in the entertainment industry. Categories include Superstar of Tomorrow, Breakthrough Performer and Style Icon. 8 p.m., The CW.
FRIDAY: Oh, this should be interesting: “America’s Next Top Model” goes coed for its 20th cycle with male models competing against the women. First up: A pose-off on the streets of Hollywood. 8 p.m., The CW.
