CYT’s Got Talent - A fundraising event for CYT-North Idaho’s improv team, open to everyone. Monday at 7 p.m. Come share your talents with the community, whether it be singing, dancing, stand-up comedy, juggling, or more. Prizes will be awarded. All proceeds will go to defray the cost of sending the improv team to the National CYT Improvathon in Santa Cruz, Calif. Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center, 405 N. William St., Post Falls. $10. Up On The Roof: A Taste of Unity - This fundraising event will include a sampling of local ethnic foods, music, and a silent auction featuring items from local businesses. Art on Canvas - Artist Charlie Schmidt will tag full blast with partner Stow Miller and will show a few of his Keyboard Cat paintings. There will be large canvases being painted at the show, music, eats, and there is something you will not get at any other gallery. You will be handed a spray can or marker to join in the creation of works that document the event. Presented by Cup of Cool water to help Spokane’s youth who are homeless. Friday, 6-8 p.m., 1106 W. Rev It Up for the Vets Car & Motorcycle Show - David Bergman and Blue Angels Car Club host this fundraiser supporting wounded service members through Wounded Warrior Project. Events for the day include a military honor guard, service member recognition ceremony, kid events, flag retirement ceremony, as well as multiple raffles and auctions.
