Man found dead on Highway 95 in Coeur d’Alene

A dead man was found on the side of the highway in Coeur d’Alene late Sunday night. Coeur d’Alene Police responded to a call of a man, unconscious, lying on the east side of U.S. Highway 95 on the north end of the Interstate 90 overpass, according to a news release. Officers could not detect a pulse and administered CPR. Fire and medical crews arrived and continued to provide on-scene aid, then took the man to Kootenai Medical Center, according to the release. Doctors were unable to resuscitate the man. Police have not released the 58-year-old man’s identity, according to the release.
