Mumm for council, finally

Candace Mumm is finally running for Spokane City Council, District 3.

Many of us who have served with her on the countless and varied task forces and committees in the city, county and neighborhoods throughout the years have urged her to run. If you profile Mumm, you will find a fiscal conservative who is also passionate about social justice, a person who always investigates all sides of an issue, one who is focused on people more than political party, which means she will be responsible to the citizens she represents. She will do so with energy and integrity. We all deserve this from our representative.

Mumm is an award-winning investigative reporter, a graduate of Gonzaga University with a master of business administration degree and owner and chief executive officer of her own business. Most of all, and best of all, she is a leader, a leader who knows how to bring people together, a leader who knows the value of communication and the public process.

Ten years on the City Plan Commission assures me that, when elected, she will hit the ground running. She’s good at that, too. Vote Candace Mumm for City Council.
