Obituary: Bishop, Anne Marion (Age 85)

BISHOP, Anne Marion (Age 85) The Bishop family of Spokane is celebrating the life of their mother and dear friend this weekend.

Anne Marion Clara (Beck) Bishop lived a rich life of love, always joyful in helping others.

Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren.

She was always involved in schools, from the food support services in the public system to being a bus driver for Spokane Lutheran School.

She especially enjoyed working as a teachers assistant in Spokane Public Schools and in Germany at a Department of Defense school in Bamburg, Germany.

She loved her travels to Europe, Africa, and across the United States, but her greatest joy was Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

Her family will miss her loving ways, beautiful smile, and delightful banter: sister Deloris Carstensen, and Clarence Beck, Steve Bishop, Peggy (Jim) Witt, Marilyn (Mark) Kolander, Dennis (Beckie) Bishop, and Tom (Deanna) Bishop, 17 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church for mission work.

A memorial service will celebrate her joyful entrance into life eternal at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 6905 N Country Homes Blvd, Spokane, WA, on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 11 AM.
