Obituary: Oscar, Oscar Clinton

PANTHER, Oscar Clinton Went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2013.

He was born in Post Falls, Idaho and lived his life in Spokane.

The most important things in his life were his religion, his family and his beloved workshop.

He was very fond of camping in the mountains.

In summers one of his favorite activities was to camp and pick huckleberries.

He retired from Burlington Northern Railroad in 1982, where he had worked as a Carman for many years.

He and his wife Norma spent about 16 years as snowbirds going to Arizona in winters.

He had a happy life and many will miss him.

I will miss him forever.

He was my dad.

Oscar is survived by his wife of 67 years Norma, daughter Jenna and her wife Mikki.

He is also survived by three granddaughters, nine great grand children and several adults that they had cared for as foster parents.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. at Dishman Baptist Church.
