1. D. They have an ongoing game of tag, which they play only in February. Their story might be featured in a movie starring Will Ferrell and Jack Black.

2. B. Sheriff Ben Wolfinger said that by allowing openly gay scouts, as the Boy Scouts of America charter now does, it is promoting a lifestyle that’s illegal in Idaho.

3. C. Tyler James Deutsch is charged with putting the infant in a freezer for about an hour because she was crying. The baby’s mother called police after she saw him taking the baby out of the freezer. The baby was taken to the hospital with a body temperature of 84 degrees but is expected to recover. Deutsch faces charges of child assault, criminal mistreatment and interfering with reporting domestic violence.

4. A. The PFD temporarily renamed the facility the Bon Jovi Veterans Arena as a promotion for an Oct. 6 concert by the rock group. The promotion was dropped after it prompted a protest from some local veterans, including one who demonstrated with a sign in front of the arena.

5. A. Kanaan is from Brazil.
