Bad Science Fridays! - “Dowsing and Dead People,” ever heard of the ideomotor effect? Liberty Lake community yard sale - Sales will be set up at private homes, in Pavillion Park and at the Liberty Lake Portal at Mission and Molter. There will be free food and drinks available at the Portal. Commercial vendors will be set up along Settler Drive at Pavillion Park. A map of sale locations will be available at local businesses. Hosted by the Liberty Lake Kiwanis. 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Spokane Felts Field Neighbor Day - Third annual event. Bring the family for a fun day celebrating aircraft and historic Felts Field. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Felts Field, 6105 E. Rutter Ave., Spokane Valley. Free. (800) 493-7515.

10th Annual Parade of Paws - A fun-packed two- or four-mile walk to benefit the animals at the Spokane Humane Society waiting for a home. You, your dog, family, co-workers and friends are all welcome to join in the fun for a great cause. Day of event registration starts at 8 a.m. Early registration is available Friday from noon to 7 p.m. All walkers will receive a special goodie bag.
