The Rev. John Owen at Manito Presbyterian Church – Sunday, 10:30 a.m. at the church, 401 E. 30th Ave. Owen served for almost 10 years as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Coast Guard before receiving his divinity degree. He served two years as a congregational pastor before re-entering active duty service as a Navy chaplain in 1998.
