Deputies reportedly used a stun gun to subdue a man who was behaving strangely at a south Spokane gym Thursday evening.
Witnesses said a man was asked to leave after yelling and throwing weights at Oz Fitness, 5501 S. Regal St. Authorities were called around 7:40 p.m. when he refused to leave.
When deputies arrived, the man fled the gym but was subdued in a parking lot across the street. No shots were fired, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was unresponsive at first but was revived, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Regal Street was closed between 55th and 57th avenues as authorities investigated.
