Bridge to fun

To the businesses affected by the two-week Monroe St. Bridge closure: Get creative and make an event out of this. Call it NOMO, North of Monroe, and have a big two week street fair with wares on tables outside rain or shine and make it fun with cool music, store clerks in crazy costumes, etc.

For the businesses selling services, not objects, let this be a good time to put out lots of advertising for all the people coming to the NOMO fair.

Hey, it could be an annual event, although you will have all those pesky cars zooming by not noticing your business.
