Obituary: Cox, Florence A.

Born May 19, 1919 to Fred and Anna Damschen in Lewistown, MT, went to be with her Lord, June 4, 2013 in Spokane.

Her smile and sense of humor will be missed.

She spent her life being a housewife and mother of four.

She loved cooking, gardening and sewing.

She lived in Coulee City, WA for over 50 years.

After raising her children, she moved to Stevensville, MT with her husband.

She moved to Spokane to Avalon Care Center in November 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, grandson Mark, eight brothers and one sister.

She is survived by one brother Lauren (Evelyn) Damschen of Anaconda, MT; children: Mel (Sybil) Cox of Eatonville, WA, Gloria (Art) Huwe of Stevensville, MT, Loreen Irving of Zillah, WA, Ron (Betty) Cox of Nine Mile Falls, WA; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great- great-grandchild.

The family would like to thank the staff at Avalon for the love and care of “Grandma.”
