Here’s the Dirt: Business Cents has new home

Business Cents has new home

Business Cents, a provider of QuickBooks consulting and training for business customers, is moving from the Century 21 building in Liberty Lake to a 1,000-square-foot office in Rock Point Tower, 326 W. Boone Ave.

The larger space and central location will give customers more access to Business Cents’ training and services, company owner Steffanie Anderson said.

A new conference room on the third floor will also be used for QuickBooks training.

Fan Suite to open in RPS

River Park Square has opened The Fan Suite, a party venue on the third floor of the downtown Spokane retail mall. RPS Marketing Director Elizabeth Mills said it’s patterned after a Las Vegas man cave but designed “to appeal to both men and women.”

It has a small bar, seating for 25, three large TVs, a refrigerator and tables.

Customers can rent the space starting June 17; fees will be $80 for four hours.

All food and beverages will cost extra and must be catered through any restaurant or food business in River Park Square, Mills said.

It will fill about 1,000 square feet in the space last occupied by accessories retailer Claire’s.

Assisted living center in CdA

An assisted living facility is going up in north Coeur d’Alene at 3989 Player Dr., in the Kathleen Avenue- Ramsey Road area.

The Lodge at Fairway Forest will open in August with 16 rooms that include private bathrooms with walk-in tubs. It’s a replica of The Lodge at Riverside Harbor, which opened in November at 52 N. Cedar St. in Post Falls.

“We’re just trying to raise the bar of expectations and lower the price,” co-owner Becky Mort said.

Mort Construction of Coeur d’Alene is the contractor. Lake City Engineering of Coeur d’Alene is the architect.
