Real scandal overlooked

Imagine for a moment if you will that you’re an Internal Revenue Service agent looking at two organizations applying for 501(c)(4) tax-exempt status. One group’s main purpose might be to feed starving children, for example, while the other group is a politically based organization much like the Democrats or Republicans that do not qualify for tax-exempt status.

Further, the acronym for the first part of this second group’s name is “Tea,” which stands for “taxed enough already,” and the members of this second group are so greedy that they would be opposed to any tax increases, especially on rich people or corporations, even if those taxes were to be used to feed starving children.

I don’t know about you, but were I an IRS agent I know which organization I would give more scrutiny to.

And before I called for the impeachment of our president for these and other less-than-misdemeanors, which he knew nothing of beforehand, I would first consider imprisoning former President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for the war crimes (Iraq invasion based on lies and torture) that they knowingly and willingly participated in.
