Settled A settlement was reached between Kobe Bryant and a New Jersey auction house that allows Bryant’s mother to sell a small amount of his memorabilia, while also getting an apology from his parents, who thanked him for his financial support.

Charged Florida State wide receiver Greg Dent has been charged with sexual assault after a female friend accused him of trying to forcefully have sex with her. Dent was suspended by the school Monday.

Joining USA Basketball announced Monday that Tom Thibodeau and Monty Williams will join the returning Jim Boeheim as assistant coaches for the U.S. Olympic men’s basketball team. They will work the next three years under coach Mike Krzyzewski.

Expelled Fenerbahce faces a second expulsion from the Champions League within three seasons after the Turkish giant and five of its club officials were charged by European soccer’s governing body in a match-fixing case. The Union of European Football Associations said Monday it will hold a disciplinary hearing on June 22.

Freed A University of Alabama fan is free from jail after serving time for poisoning Auburn University’s landmark oaks at Toomer’s Corner. Harvey Updyke left the Lee County jail in Opelika on Monday morning after serving 76 days following his guilty plea.

Hired Former Missouri coach Quin Snyder, a former assistant coach with the Lakers and 76ers, has been hired to join new Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer’s staff as an assistant. Snyder returns to the NBA with the Hawks after spending last season as an assistant with CSKA Moscow.

Jailed Former NBA All-Star Daron “Mookie” Blaylock is out of the hospital and in jail, charged with vehicular homicide in a car crash south of Atlanta. Blaylock is also charged with driving on a suspended license, making an improper lane change and crossing the median in the head-on crash that killed a 43-year-old woman in Jonesboro on May 31. Blaylock surrendered Monday and is being held without bond.
