Obituary: Johnson, Helen Louise
Age 96
Helen was born in Sandpoint, Idaho on May 7, 1917 to Lowell and Anna Marie (Schrieb) MacPherson.
Preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years Morris S. Johnson and their daughter Carolyn; Helen is survived by her sister, Margaret Vold of Spokane, WA; children, Patricia Hancock of Bellevue, WA and Bonnie Majak of Fairbanks, AK; and grandchildren, Michael Hancock of Denver, CO and Sean Hancock of Renton, WA.
Helen was active in the United Church of Christ and was a member of the Valley Crosstrailers and a lifelong member of the Corbin Senior Center.
Helen was fond of singing, square dancing, and ballroom dancing.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 10:30am, Friday, June 14, 2013 at Riverview Care Center.
Services are being cared for by Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, Spokane.
