Obituary: Campbell, Charlotte Anne (Patterson)

Age 84

CAMPBELL, Charlotte Anne (Patterson) Was born September 27, 1928 in Portland, Oregon to Wayne and Kathryn Patterson and older sister Marjorie.

Charlotte grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon where she graduated from high school in 1946 and spent two years at OSU.

She married Bruce Campbell on January 12, 1949 and worked on campus until Bruce got his degree in 1951.

They moved to Spokane in 1951 for Bruce’s job at Honeywell.

Charlotte had five children born at St. Lukes Hospital.

Steven (Rhonda), Patrick (Coral), Michael (Debra), Janice, Bradley (Kyong).

Eight grandchildren- Jeff (Lily), Brian (Shawna), Jenniffer, Desmond, Brenda (Moses), Heather (Nathan), Adam, Shannon 13 great-grandchildren - Vince, Andrew, Brandon, Mercedes, Taylor, Evan, Sydney, Alexis, Kiah, Grace, Kaylie, Luca and Talia.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, sister, beloved daughter Janice and her beloved husband Bruce of 54 years.

Charlotte was a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

She loved to travel, spend time with her friends and family, play bridge,volunteer and take care of her kitty, Sammy.

You’ll Never Leave Us Those we hold the closest never leave us, they live on in the kindness they’ve shared and the love they brought into our lives, We will miss you Mom and Grandma.

There will be a celebration of her life on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Cathay Inn restaurant on N. 3714 Division from noon-4:00pm.
