4 IronKids Fun Run

6 p.m. Thursday, Coeur d’Alene City Park, 415 W. Mullan Ave., Coeur d’Alene. A one-mile run for “triathletes to be” up to age 14, held annually in the week leading up to Ironman Coeur d’Alene. Parents are welcome to run with small children. Deadline to register is 5 p.m. Wednesday, either online at www.ironkids.com, or at the Coeur d’Alene Parks Department office in City Hall, 710 E. 5 Manito Park Tree Tour 10 a.m. Saturday, Manito Garden Meeting Room, east of the greenhouse, 1702 S. Grand Blvd. Join Spokane County-WSU Master Gardener Ed Lester for a free tour of Manito Park trees. Attendees will tour the north and east portions of the park, finishing by noon.
