All Wheels Weekend Today-Sunday. 19th anniversary car show. Events begin today with a slow cruise along Main Street and fireworks. Saturday’s Show-n-Shine is a car show along and around Main Street. Events during the day include a men’s drag race, outlaw lawn mower races and a poker walk. Saturday night there is a demolition derby and live music at many downtown businesses. 166 E. Founder’s Day Citywide celebration in honor of Medical Lake’s founders. Albeni Falls Dam Tour and Presentation A park ranger will begin the tour at the Albeni Falls Visitor Center and present an interactive lesson about edible plants on Thursday and water safety on June 27. Pack a lunch and prepare to take a short walk to the dam to see the internal mechanisms of the structure, down to the very bottom, which includes the turbines. “Every Woman Can” Yard Sale Fundraiser Fourth annual event to raise funds for Inland Imaging’s Every Woman Can Foundation, working to help fight one of the reported barriers to getting a mammogram: lack of insurance or limited funds.
