What’s the word for liberals?

I think it’s interesting: All the hand-wringing the left did over the Patriot Act; all the noise they made about invasion of privacy, loss of liberty and myriad possible abuses. I think it’s interesting that the act’s first abuse came from the Obama administration.

There’s a word for this sort of thing, isn’t there? For when a person acts in contradiction to his stated beliefs. Hipi-thermia? No. Hipi-condriac? No, that ain’t it. There’s a word for it.

Can’t think of it just now. Oh, well. It’ll come to me.
