Obituary: Holliday, Alice L.
Age 97
Alice was born June 25, 1915 in Effie, Washington to Kirby W. and Anna Sooy.
Alice married Homer Holliday, May 27, 1939.
As a graduate of EWU, she was a longtime educator in the Lamont and Deer Park School Districts.
She was a member of the Open Door Congregational Church and a 50 year Member of the Bethlehem Chapter of OES serving two terms as Worthy Matron.
Alice is survived by three sons: Ralph (Joann) of Deer Park, Curtis (Sandy) of Traverse City, Michigan, and Brian (Becky) of Surprise, Arizona; eight grandchildren, Michael, Kathy, Kristy, Troy, Keith, Brian, Jeff and Andrew; 13 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Luella Lundberg and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Homer, brother Kirby Sooy and step-brothers Wayne and Glen Lundberg.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Open Door Congregational Church located at 205 N. Main St., Deer Park, WA.
